Kitaj

Admiro mucho a Kitaj.

Hi Mox,

My tidbit for today, Monday 25 October, is that I finally found out where Steely Dan got their name from. Donald Fagen and Walter Becker (aka Steely Dan)are avid readers of "Beat" literature. So, they decided to name their new band "Steely Dan" after a dildo in William Burrough's "Naked Lunch".

Spanish sounds a lot like French. "Casa antigua del actor Peter Lorre" in French would be "la maison ancienne du comedien P. Lorre". I used to say "la veille maison" - it is a "false friend", as the French say: the same word exists in the other language but means something else. Just like "inviter a ...", which does not only mean "to invite" buit also "I am paying". A mistake I have made to my peril.

Remember, soft quick strokes, guys!

Gracias Mox, Voy a corregir el post. Mi mujer va muy bien. Llevamos dieciséis semanas.

George, Steely Dan was a steam-driven dildo, if I recall correctly. Not that I ever read the book. Though I did read Junkie, courtesy of Patrick "Fluffy" Delaney, who is probably a respectable pharmacologist these days, living in Geneva and pottering around the garden in a shell suit.

Hola Mox,

A dildo is un pene artificial.

Way to go, Mox! There are also sub-atomic particle dildos developed by CERN - the particle smashers in Geneva. However, there have been problems with quantum fluctuations where, although your mujer has reached orgasm, in some parallel universes, she's still high and dry. (That must be Kalgoorlie, ed.

In any event, the new dildos are great for smoothies ...

¡Chicos! ¿Pensáis que Peter Lorre usaba el consolador?

Mates! Do you reckon Peter Lorre went the dil?

No offence, Mox. In fact, very funny! I'm still trying to find that dildo mechanic on the CERN web site. And yes, I like the sheilas, mates - but do they like me? A marketer's dilemna!

By the way, isn't CERN the birth place of the world wide web? The Big Bang? (That was an erudite joke implying a familiarity with the inflationary theory of the universe). Get it interya!
